Rational Entertainment pays $6 million to Kentucky

It is a sad day for the owners of Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. Today they finally settled a lawsuit with Kentucky. This state within America was rewarded with $6 million due to the fact that Kentucky believed that these two poker rooms were doing illegal business.

This case is more than six years old now and during that time period this lawsuit has been a heated debate for the online gamblers of Kentucky. This case caused for a lot of bad press on Kentucky’s behalf because a lot of people were wondering what legal ground Kentucky truly had to do this. Kentucky had argued that illegal betting activities within its border was not an option for them and that they’d do anything to stop it.

This lawsuit is now done and over with. Kentucky just joined the feral government in a set of several different lawsuits against poker rooms all across the internet that operate through the USA. The state governor went on to say that he will use this six million dollars for a rainy day when Kentucky needs it.
